The DR920P is constructed on the same full-size DR920 frame that Shadow Systems offers, and it features a full 17+1 capacity. The comp and slide are machined to give the appearance of being a single piece, but the innovative design enables the comp to be quickly detached from the slide and reattached for cleaning purposes. The integrated compensator, for which a patent application has been submitted, is designed to align itself automatically, eliminating the need for set screws or other friction devices. In order to facilitate quicker shot-to-shot tracking, the front sight of the DR920P is positioned directly on top of the comp.

The DR920P, which is compatible with G34 holsters, comes equipped with all of the features that have contributed to the success of Shadow Systems. These features include a match-grade, spiral-fluted barrel, a flat-faced trigger, and an aggressively textured frame with adjustable backstraps that allow the point of aim to be adjusted. The Elite model slide is available for the DR920P, and it features front and back directional serrations, a weight-optimizing window cut, and Shadow Systems’ revolutionary multi-footprint optic system. Additionally, this slide has a weight-optimizing window cut. Because of the optic cut, it is possible to install the majority of the major brands of red dot optics directly to the slide, eliminating the need for adapters or plates in the mounting process.
